Welcome To The Oswald Road Medical Centre

You and your general practice

You and your general practice is a national guide on what you can expect from your GP surgery. It also explains what you can do to get the best from the NHS.

Important: Scam Warning

Last week, a scammer telephoned a patient claiming to be from a local GP practice.

They asked the patient to confirm their identity using personal details like name, address, date-of-birth etc.

Thankfully, the patient was vigilant and realised this was a scam as the telephone number shown was a London number and the call was made prior to the surgery being open.

This methodology has also been reported in Scotland, where similar calls were made impersonating local pharmacies.

Our Surgery offers a comprehensive range of health care. This website will give you and your family the information you require to enable you to obtain the best from this practice. We suggest that you bookmark this website for easy reference in the future.

Contact our practice, use our online consultation

Tell us about your problem and request medical advice and we'll respond promptly within our online consultation hours.

Please access our Online Consultation Service.

Visit our Online Consultations page for advice on how to use the service.

Pre-bookable appointments

From 1st October, access to primary care services across North Lincolnshire will be improved through the introduction of pre-bookable appointments at evenings and weekends.

Please ask a practice receptionist for more information.

RCGP accredited practice

Dr Sheena Kurien-George

We have a regular doctor working every Thursday. Please ask reception for more details. We also have other regular clinic appointments available.

All patients have a named accountable GP who has overall responsibility for the care and support that our surgery provides to you. This does not prevent you from seeing any GP in the practice as you currently do. Please enquire at reception if you would like to know which GP is your named GP.

Online Services

We are now offering online appointments and repeat prescriptions - please ask at reception for a login user name and password to access this service.
